(COMMUNICATION STYLES AND SHARED JOURNELING – WIN/WIN CONFLICT RESOLUTION )

A 1 Day seminar designed to teach the tools of Shared Journaling, a survival skill necessary for relationships in our ever changing and stressful world. An absolute MUST for couples and leaders. Learning to communicate during stressful times is difficult at best but one of the most important skills an individual can acquire. These are times when ambiguity increases as well as feelings and emotions. If these feelings and emotions are left unchecked or are not dealt with they can fester and turn into anger and resentment. In a relationship this can often turn into a lose/lose situation.

The purpose of SHARED JOURNALING is to understand the need that is being described by feelings or emotions. This specific tool of communication is a way of objectifying our emotions. Too often our thoughts and feelings are flowing in a free and interconnected way. In times of transition and stress it is difficult to separate the two and the intensity can increase. Sometimes many emotions can be present at the same time. As a result, emotion oftentimes turns into heated debate or internalized hostility and we fail to reach a rational approach to the issue or situation.
